Greene County is reigniting the passion for youth tackle football, bringing the sport back for the first time since 2022. Thanks to the efforts of Trey Scott and the Greene County Touchdown Club, local kids eager to play football in middle and high school will now have the chance to learn the game early. Scott emphasized the importance of safe participation, stating, “You have to play the game to be safe.”
This initiative is also closely tied to the high school program, with youth players now able to engage with summer camps. Scott’s passion for the local sports scene and community support played a major role in making this happen. By pulling resources together and rallying community members, Scott aims to build “the Rams of tomorrow” starting today.
