The Warren County National Night Out, scheduled for Oct. 12, from 5-8 p.m., will be held at Courthouse Square in Warrenton, with a rain location set at John Graham Gym. This year’s event promises an evening of fun and learning with live music from TNT Band and South Main Band, games, face painting, and refreshments. In addition to entertainment, local law enforcement and county agencies will provide vital safety resources, including K-9 demonstrations, fire prevention tips, and Narcan training.

Sheriff John Branche, a key organizer, sees the event as a way to foster a sense of community and trust between law enforcement and residents, especially the youth. “I want our young people to know we are here to help the community,” Branche stated. Volunteers from Kittrell Job Corps and Warren County High School will also participate, highlighting a county-wide commitment to neighborhood safety.`
